Andrea Galad, photographer born in Rovereto, Italy.
Andrea Galad received his training at the Institute of Art Depero in Italy, where he deepened his skills in drawing, line work and color design. His work is influenced by neoclassicism, mythology, paleontology and his classical dance training.
Andrea, who has lived in Berlin for years, honors ancient icon painting, which he fuses with modern, dark photographs. His work is a distinctive expression of his experiences and influences from piano lessons, art history, Victorian literature and romantic art.
Andrea Galad is the Michelangelo of Berlin photography. His images are "Homemade Divinity..., inspired by mythology and iconography" (Kaltblut Magazine) and evoke "images of Romanticism, Greek statues and classical mythology." (IHeartBerlin Magazine).
